It is important for us to care for the environment and live in harmony with nature. At Old old wood, we use reclaimed old wood and rediscover its potential. We rely on the knowledge gained in the family carpentry workshop. We create durable and useful wooden products with a unique look!
The art and craft of carpentry
We have always been attracted by the forest and the peace we felt there. This is the best form of relaxation for us. We are connected with Beskid Sądecki – we have walked many trails there and spent a lot of time surrounded by trees. Our roots are there. We have also been observing work with wood in a family carpentry workshop located in this area for a long time.
We respect trees
We see that the wooden waste is a raw material that can be successfully used, and old wood can be an excellent material to create original products. These experiences influenced our way of life. We try to live consciously, with care for the environment, carefully using natural resources. We live close to nature and we want to contribute to the spread of such a lifestyle with our work.
We discover the beauty of old wood
Such a combination of preferences, beliefs and knowledge turned into the project Old old wood. What we do? We recover quality old wood and use it to create functional and aesthetic products. Each of them is unique, because it is made of material from a different source. Each one – in a different shape, different color, with a different texture, with a different characteristic – a knot or a crack. By making these items, we open another chapter in the life of reclaimed old wood, often destined for incineration.
We combine tradition with modernity
We are also writing another part of family and local history. We combine family carpentry tradition with modernity, we focus on the new use of multi-generational knowledge and skills. We watch with admiration the craftsmen and their work done in the Nowy Sącz region many years ago. And we continue their work. We also return to living in harmony with nature. We bring “once upon a time” to “here and now”. We hope that this rich history enclosed in the unique appearance of our products will appear in your spaces.
